As IF you needed one more reason to plan your trip to Japan. The live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast has been raking in the cash worldwide and brought a brand new life to the tale as old as time. Now the classic Disney story is finally getting its very own attractions in Toyko Disneyland.
The Beauty and the Beast area will include its own attraction, shop, and restaurant. In the main attraction , guests can board the magic dishes from the famous ‘Be Our Guest‘ dance number and ride them through a life-like version of the fictional world. All in just enough time to arrive at the Beast’s castle to help break the magic spell that separates Belle and the Beast as the last rose petal is falling. Disney has also released a walk through video that shows how the new areas will fit in among the current Disney Fantasyland attractions. The restaurant is likely to be themed after Gaston’s Tavern and probably serve some very macho dishes. Fantasyland is also set to get a brand new indoor theater for eventual live performances (though I doubt you’ll get to see Emma Watson perform there).
Besides the Beauty and the Beast additions, Disney is also adding a Big Hero 6 themed attraction to its Tomorrowland section of the park and a Minnie Mouse photo-area in Toontown.
Gotta wait until 2020 to check out these new goods, so you’ve got plenty of time to plan your trip to Tokyo.
