When you think of Evangelion‘s epic Spear of Longinus, what comes to mind first? Not tweezers?…

Well, are tweezers close enough? Because Studio Khara and Tokyo Otaku Mode have made some.

The stainless steel Tweezers of Longinus reside in a real (resin) Angel core when not in use. When in use, they are accurate up to 0.001 mm, which means you can conquer splinters, eyebrows, or fine hairs easily. YUP.

The tweezers are up for preorder now. Sadly, if you were hoping for an upgrade, you’re too late. The limited-edition red or blue titanium versions, limited to a run of 300 each, are already sold out.

Love Live! Sunshine!! God Hand Nippers

Why buy regular nippers? Source: God Hand

God Hand is no stranger to the ways of otaku. They manufacture nippers made specifically for plastic model kits. In fact, their SPN-120 model is so beloved that it’s been personified as the popular character Nipako.

Most recently, God Hand released a line of nine mods of their Blade One beginner’s nippers. Each has grips color-coded to one of the girls of Aqours from Love Live! Sunshine!! Not only that, but the girl’s name and a representative icon have been lasered on one side, with the Aqours logo on the other.

Apparently, they’re perfect to use with the new Figure-rise Bust set — but we’re just going by what they say.

God Hand will be selling all nine versions at their WonderFes booth next month for 4,500 yen each. Will they be available worldwide after the event? That’ll depend on if there are any left. Given how popular Love Live! is… you might just want to grab a regular set if you’re in the market.
