JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Limited Edition Review: HOT

For fans of macho-men doing manly things whilst being surrounded by exaggerated sound effects, be warned: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (Set 1) will consume your soul. This is the first time the series is on Blu-Ray  thanks to manga publishing house Viz Media. Even the packaging exuding an essence of an epic rock n’ roll adventure waiting to unfold.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Limited Edition Review: HOT

For those new to the series, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure follows the story of the Joestar line of individuals and their random adventures throughout time and history. The first in the season and manga series follows Jonathan Joestar and his destined encounter with the maleficent force known as Dio Brando.

The limited edition Blu-Ray itself brings forth to the table a package of goodies.

The first item is of course the jewel case with four discs. The beef of this package comes from the incredible key animation art book. This book is filled to the brim with gorgeous rough in-betweens and key animation frames. Frankly, I wanted this collection purely for the fact that it had a key animation book. The art of the series has such distinction that it would be incredibly hard to mistake it for anything else.

The last item included is a small stack of full color art cards. I know for myself I will probably not open these, but the fan inside me screams, “SCREW IT”. Regardless, these goodies are immensely beautiful and add up to a larger collection of magnificent collectors’ items.

Be warned: All of this goodness comes at a price; a wallet wrenching 69.99USD.

I personally feel it was worth it.
