Saying Goodbye to Naruto Shippuden

Naruto Shippuden fans may be feeling the blues as the month wraps up, but the end of Konoha and its ninja doesn’t have to be sad. When one door closes another opens and the ending has opened the door for a new Naruto anime, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Boruto will be a spin off of Naruto and follow the Hidden Leaf Village’s new ninja following the Fourth Great Ninja War. Boruto will kickoff with an original story not previously published in any novelizations or manga. Noriyuki Abe will be the chief director of this spin-off.

Here is a sneak peak into what you can expect…Boruto is the son of Naruto Uzumaki and is now stealing the spotlight, but not without pre-conceived judgments from his peers. Little do they know Boruto has some unknown capabilities. Even though Boruto will be set in modern times where ninjas are no longer truly needed Boruto is the son of the Hockage and Ninja Academy obviously makes sense. Another important character to watch for is Denki. Denki is a quiet character who steals the attention of Boruto, and guarantees to play an important role in the development of this series.

The final episode of Naruto Shippuden is set to air on March 23, 2017 and Baruto will make its debut on April 5, 2017.

Look, in all honesty Naruto’s legacy is 500 episodes, 720 installments; and over a decade of story development. If this ending is a sentimental one for you try not to be too sad because Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is on its way.
