If you didn’t already see it, Starbucks Japan has been absolutely nailing its Japanese flavor profiles.

They’ve been unveiling regional drinks left and right, from their Tea Cream Frappuccino, to their American-inspired Cherry Pie Frappuccino.

Now, they’re taking their flavors far past caffeinated drinks: Say hello to the pudding parlor.

Granted, Starbucks Japan began selling pudding last November, starting off with milk custard and chocolate flavors before adding matcha green tea to the lineup. And NOW…. Banana & Chocolate Pudding. SoraNews24 describes it best through their Japanese-language reporter P.K. Sanjun:

He took a bite, and his taste buds were greeted with a rich, creamy banana flavor. Starbucks’ pudding is a bit on the firm side, so it doesn’t immediately melt in your mouth, but this firmness lent it a premium, satisfying feel.

Sensual, is it not?! Priced at 320 yen (US$2.90), it’s an indulgence that won’t break the bank.
