Volleyball Robots Are Totally A Thing In Japan

Meet “the block machine”. Yes, it’s a bit janky, but it certainly gets the job done for Japan’s National Volleyball Team.

Picture three pairs of hands fixed to mobile torsos, scooting back and forth on a fixed track. They’re “perfectly” designed for practicing spikes, but we can think of a number of OTHER ways to use em:

  1. Blocking the haters
  2. Practicing our expo crowd maneuvers
  3. Testing our latest handmade cosplay gear
